Solid Wood Flooring Silver Beech (two options available)West Coast Silver Beech – Predominantly a warm maple & honey coloured timber, also known for its variation in feature colours i.e. purple / green / brown tones. Generally a similar hardness as Rimu.
Red BeechRed Beech – mainly red in colour with light & dark red overtones. Sourced from the West Coast and known to be of similar hardness to Matai. Recycled RimuEx-demolition - features nail marks and is usually a mixture of colour & heart timber. Salvaged MataiSalvaged from lake & river beds remaining from early settler logging operations. Due to the age of these logs the sap wood has mainly eroded away leaving the heart wood, which is then processed into premium grade flooring. Western Australia JarrahImported from Perth, this product is the original Australian Jarrah used for railway sleepers, bridge beams, wharfs and telephone poles. Jarrah is a deep red / brown colour and known to be one of the hardest and most durable hardwoods in the southern hemisphere. Beechmark is proud to supply this product from ex-demolition homes direct to the New Zealand market. Australian KarriAlso imported as an ex-demolition product from Perth. Although not as commonly known as Jarrah, Australian Karri has similar hardness and durabilility properties. This timber is an orange / red colour similar to teak.
